This week has been a disaster. I lost $400, leaving me with a total profit of $250. :-(

Lost hundreds of showdowns, had all kinds of ridiculous bad beats and coolers.

Strangely my results on other sites are not affected.

I should probably stop playing turbo’s.

Or maybe I should quit my summer job. ;-)

Again I started the week losing a significant amount of money, $160 this time. Like last week, I will (hopefully) gradually win it back :-) It’s getting harder to concentrate and becoming generally more boring which unfortunately leads to tilting.

Solution: maybe take a break of a couple of days or maybe play less for bigger stakes.

Not much news or encouragement from the site, I must say. Silence reigns and blog entries are ignored. A temporary problem, I’m sure

Here is my lastest post

Got my 1000 points for week 2, currently at a little over 500 for week 3. Tables not as nice as they were in the first week. I still have around $400 left, and if I want to get the 1000 this week and 1000 next week, I need to get this total up a bit so I can play comfortably at the 0.50/1 and 1/2 NL tables.

I’m off work tomorrow, so I can try to get the remaining points done tonight and tomorrow if I need to.

The week 2 has just ended and I managed to make 500 points by playing sit’n'go $11 and $22. I have to play 20 it a day minimum to perform. I doubled my bankroll and I continued to play and that was a disaster!
An AA vs 69, 6 in the flop, 9 on the river and that was as all evening long of yesterday and I came down again in $100! Hard hard!!
Courage for this 3rd week.

hello,

I think as Graddus. We have a lot of newsof redkings. We do not know how many points let us owe make and really not knowing the period to make the number of necessary points.

Otherwise I lost all the profit which I had been able to make as if cards wanted to equalize the number of sit’n'go won and the number of sit’n'go lost . Sometimes It is very difficult to keep cool !

Molle in Vegas..

Monday, July 27th, 2009

I saw ”The Hangover” a couple days before I went to Las Vegas. For you who haven’t seen it I must say it’s the funniest movie I have ever seen. Those of you who have seen it probably understood I came to Vegas with great expectations and I must say it was even more fun than I expected.

I went out a couple of days with all the Swedish friends and it was a lot of fun. A friends friend who I met and hang with in Vegas got married to a Swedish 31 year old girl who we met the day before they married. They saved their first kiss until the altar when the priest said ”you may now kiss your bride”. All this was a really crazy night and there’s one thing that we all are really happy about… we got it all on tape!

Pokerwise I didn’t play anything other then the main event. I had a really soft table the first day but was a bit said since I only finished the day with 54k in chips which felt a bit bad. I did one mistake that I wish I didn’t make but other than that I was happy with my play.

The second day I got a pretty soft table as well except that I had Phil Ivey to my right which wasn’t that irritating thou since I had position. He didn’t start with a huge stack but sucked out two guys early so after that he had a lot of chips. I must say Phil played really good and slaughtered the table but the funny thing was that I slaughtered Phil a lot. I really used my position and Phil raised very much so I did a lots of 3-bet and floated much. It all worked great for me since I had great timing versus him and I was super aggressive against him but still controlled.

I picked up all the chips from him that he took from others. So after winning like 17 of the 20 pots we played against each other in the four hours we played I had built my stack up to around 110k. At this time it felt like Phil was steaming a bit and really wanted to get me out of the way. I knew that he thought if I only can get rid of this guy I’ll have the table all for myself.

However after five hours of super aggressive play from our parts Phil raises to 2200 in mid/late position and I 3-bet to 6700 with AK in position. He did the first 4-bet to 20k which I had been waiting for so I thought it was a great time to move in. Not because I thought I would get called of with a worse hand but because I was pretty sure he would 4-bet bluff me some time soon since I really had to push my whole big stack into the middle which I wasn’t going to do without a hand.

Unfortunately for me he called after 30 seconds of thinking and showing KK. I didn’t suck out so I went out in a 230k pot at 400/800 with a ante of 100. Even thou I got it in bad this time I was really happy with my play and it felt like I really slaughtered Phil and was a pain in the ass for him.

Now, back in Stockholm I have taken the time to hang out with my friends and just had a lot of fun. I’m going back to Lund in a week or something to grind a bit of poker and study for some test I haven’t finished yet.

Good Luck to all of you until next time!

Had a dip but things are going ok now. The second week I made a profit of $327.50. I was helped by the fact that this week was nine days long. In comparison: the first week was only five days long. Total profits are $621 now.

I hardly play anything but Sit ’n Go tournaments. Particularly the $10 3-table ones are quite profitable for me. To save time I also play a lot of $20 Double or Nothings, two or three at once. It’s hard even to break even on them , it’s for the player points that I play them.

I began the week 2 and I decided to continue to make 500 asked points by making sit’ not go for $11 and $22, that is 5 or 10 points of taken away by tournament. The first week was very contrasted because I had to undergo of numerous rivers but I remain motivated.
