We have just finished level 18, and we are soon enetering level 19 with blinds of 5.000/10.000 and an ante of 1.000. Only 57 players left now, and we are playing down to 24 tonight and the last three tables.

The flat price structure has probably made players gamble a little bit more, because they are dropping out like flies. One that is still left is our Team RedKings star Ivo Donev who is up at 300.000 in chips, which almost is the average stack, only 26.000 behind.

Ivo has again changed table, and is again at the same table as John Juanda. The blinds is starting to get really heavy as we are now playing on level 18 with 4000/8000 and an ante of 500, this makes the pot 16.000 already before the cards has been dealt.

Ivo’s original table got broken up and he got moved over to the table with the old football star Teddy Sheringham who now has changed career, and become a successful poker player. He went deep into the WSOPE last week, and will now add another cash position to his CV. Also Theo Thran was there with Ivo and Teddy, but this table got broken up just a few minutes after that and he is now moved to the table with Anette Obrestad who has a gigantic mountain of chips.

These chips didn’t scare Ivo in the following hand, on the flop _Ah _x _x Ivo bet 8.000 with _9x high. Anette raised Ivo to 20.000, but not even this bet could scare Ivo as he re-raised to 45.000 and Anette folded.

Then Ivo was on the BB with _Tc _5c. The player on the button raised to 15.000, Ivo calls. Flop came out _Jh _Qc _5s, both player checks. Turn is _Jc and Ivo bet out 20.000 and gets called. River is a low card and both player checks, Ivo shows his pair of 5s and the other player mucks.

92 players left, average stack 238.000 and Ivo is up to 270.000 by just taking down small pots, where will this end?

Ivo was very happy to again be able to cash in a EPT Tournament, he has been very unlucky the latest EPT Tournaments he has participated in, but now he is back on track and in the money.

A player in the cutoff made it 13.000, Ivo was in the SB and quickly moved all-in for 120.000. The BB folded, tha player in the cutoff thought for a while and then folded. John Juanda who is the only recognized face on Ivo’s table said that the guy who raised showed _Ah _Jc but that was just a lie to get Ivo to show his cards. Ivo did show _Kh _Kc and John Juanda said “I could see that you wanted to show your cards”, Ivo just replied with “You’re tricky Johhny, you’re tricky”, almost like taken from the horror movie, The Shining..

We are already down to 106 players, and only 2 more needs to go, and Ivo will be in the money.

Is what day 3 in EPT London by Pokerstars.com will be all about. I just had a chat with Ivo, and his first target will be to reach the money, a target meaning that 7 players needs to leave the tournament before he does today.

Ivo Donev has again playing the mathematical and stable poker that not many can beat him in. This has taken him to day 3 in EPT London, and it is only 110 more players who manged to do that out of the starting field of 730.

Ivo packs down 124.000 in his bag, which he will get back tomorrow at 12:00. The average stack is at 197.300. Tomorrow is going to be a day of action, we will reach the money and after that there will be all-ins, coinflips and bluffs. The three elements that make poker to the big entertainment that it is to follow.

Eric Seidel who was even more short stacked than Ivo moved all-in in early position for 43.000, everybody folded to Ivo in the BB. Ivo talked some to Eric, and then he made the call.

And the action has been slow, Ivo has been winning some blinds and losing some blinds. His stack has got a little bit smaller, and he is now down to 64.000, but just a double up and he’s in the game again.

There is 135 players left, only 31 more to the money, and only one level left of the day meaning 75 minutes more poker.
