Here is the champ!
This is everything from Copenhagen, but we’ll soon be back from EPT Berlin on the 2nd of March! Congratulations again to Steven!
Steven Vollers has probably been one of the most stable players throughout this tournament, keeping his stack in the same region for almost 3 days. Steven knows this game better than many, and it’s not a question about if he’s coming back, it’s about when.
Congratulations to Steven Vollers for bringing 100.000DKK with him home to the country of the Orange! A video interview will be up in just a few minutes..
We are down to the final 16, meaning that every player now is guaranteed 100.000 DKK!
€1 = 7.44 DKK
1 - 3,675,000 DKK
2 - 2,275,000 DKK
3 - 1,400,000 DKK
4 - 1,050,000 DKK
5 - 715,000 DKK
6 - 570,000 DKK
7 - 425,000 DKK
8 - 282,800 DKK
9-10 - 215,000 DKK
11-12 - 155,000 DKK
13-14 - 120,000 DKK
15-16 - 100,000 DKK
Steven has been All-In two more times, but they’re afraid of the Dutchmen, so he just picks up the blinds and is still at 115.000…
Steven Vollers went all-in on the SB with 115.000, and after some thinking his opponent called.
Vollers 8♦ 9♣
Opponent K♣ 9♥
Flop 7♠ A♥ Q♣
Turn 7♥
River Q♥
The tournament director says “Steven goes out in 20th position” but Steven corrects him and says it’s a split pot, and Steven is right.
Vollers is still alive, now with 119.000!
Steven Vollers has the smallest stack in the tournament, that now has 21 players remaining. He is doing everything he can to build it up though, so far he’s been all-in 3 times, one time showing A♣, one time showing 8♠ 8♣, but no callers.
Steven has about 110.000, meaning about 10 BB. He’s small, but the Dutch people knows how to become big, just look at Heineken.
Another interesting fact is that peter Eastgate the last big star is OUT.
Go Vollers!
We are down to 24 players, 3 tables, and 1 RedKings qualifier, Steven Vollers. Steven is on the same table as Peter Eastgate, meaning that he is also on the Featured table, with all TV-cameras and annoying lights. He didn’t look nervous for this, just as calm as he’s been all week.

We are today playing down to the official final table of 8. Good Luck Steven!
He has a short stack, but everybody knows about the saying “A chip and a chair”, and now he has more than one, he actually have 127.000 of them.
He is also guaranteed 80.000 DKK (about €11.000).
We will be back tomorrow at 14:00 CET to follow his way down to the final 8 here in Copenhagen!
It was obvious that Pieter van Genderen had to do something with his stack and he got the chance when he got dealt 7♥ 7♦, he moved in and was called by A♥ J♣.
Board A♣ J♠ T♣ Q♣ Q♠
And Pieter had to leave the tournament, but what a tournament he has done! It’s his first big live tournament ever, and he finishes in 26th position! Amazing. He also gets rewarded with 70.000 DKK! Congratulations!
So only one Dutchmen left in Steven Vollers who is also on the edge with a small stack, let’s hold our hands, feets, arms, or whatever you want to that he will make it through the day!
Steven Vollers, 123.000
Go Steven!
Day 3 will end when we are down to 24 players, and we now have 26 remaining players, and guess what? Two of them are RedKings qualifiers!
Pieter has taken a bit of his stack back and is now up to 165.000.
Steven Vollers is still playing very solid and got 123.000.
Their stacks are pretty short as the average stack now is up to 488,076
Go Steven and Pieter!
The player on the button made it 22.000, and Pieter on the BB called.
Flop T♠ 9♦ 7♥
Both players checks.
Turn Q♦
Pieter checks, and his opponent leads out 36.000, Pieter makes a mini raise up to 72.000 and gets called.
River 7♠
Pieter bets out 62.000, and gets called.
Pieter Q♠ 5♥
Opponent Q♣ 9♥ for a higher two pair.
Pieter van Genderen, 100.000
Steven Vollers, 150.000
33 players remaining, and they are now both guaranteed 65.000 DKK! Congratulations!
