Another full pot for Team RedKings..

Stephan Kjerstad, Christian Heich and Timo Annala all started on day 1c, to continue RedKings success so far in this edition of the WSOP 2009 Main Event. I must say that they really did continue it in the best way possible.

Christian Heich - German Superstar

Christian Heich - German Superstar

Christian Heich the aggressive German that has been running bad during the series is now back where he belongs, in the top position. He has collected 91.050 chips this day, and is going in to day 2b with a very nice stack, and Christian Heich with a nice stack is dangerous just look at what happened at Aussie Millions. Well done Christian.

Stephan Kjerstad - Through to day 2b!

Stephan Kjerstad - Through to day 2b!

Then we head over to our two times in a row Norwegian online player of the year, Stephan Kjerstad. He ends the day with 34.375 which definitely is a workable stack for day 2. He never got any big hands, so it is still a very good job to be able to end the day with over the start stack, and with this structure there is nothing to worry about.

Timo Annala our only qualifier for this event, has played as a pro player today, in his first really big tournament. He ends the day with 39.625 which gives him a interesting day 2 to look forward to! We will see him here again on the 8th of July!

So, to wrap this up we have had 6 players entering the main event and all of them going through to the second day, and everybody with good stacks, amazing. Tomorrow we have the last day which will be day 1d, where we have Jonas “Molle” Molander entering this series with his first event and also probably Benjamin Schaub. To celebrate this we will host a special freeroll “Rail Molle in WSOP ME 2009″ where you can get your share of $250! More info will come very soon…
