Christoph Dierkes - Soon rich?

Christoph Dierkes - Soon rich?

Blubb Blubb, we are already (after 30 minutes) down to 113 players, and only one more to go until our both Team RedKings players is guaranteed €5800.

Both Christoph and Ramzi is on the stacks that they started the day on, and we are guaranteed one of them into the money but as it looks now they are both going to be there, but I don’t want to jinx it.

Have to go out there and check so that they survive!

Time for money and day 3!

Tuesday, April 21st, 2009

Day 3 just started here in Casino San Remo, we have two RedKings players together with 122 other player, 12 players more needs to go out until anyone gets paid.

Ramzi Jelassi was as usual just in time for the first hand, and he looked to be in a very good mood, which is promising. Christopth Dierkes the man who qualified in our own live tournament for about $20 and now has a big chance of winning big prizes also was happy, a little bit dissapointed over his table as he was one of the players with smallest stack. He said that his main goal today is to get to the money and then he will start playing wild and crazy.

Here is the players our Kings will meet:

Table 10:
Ramzi Jelassi - 117.700
Vladyslav Zhaba - 106.400
Canio Pietrapertosa - 95.400

There will soon come a new quiz for all you readers and tonight we are hosting 2 freerolls just to celebrate our success in the tournament!

Stay tuned for the amazing action that is coming up! That also includes another tournament…

Exact Chip Counts..

Monday, April 20th, 2009

The last three hands was bad for Christoph as he lost two of them, but he still got 61.000 in his stack for tomorrow.

Ramzi will use his 117.000 big stack to learn some more tricks tomorrow.

See you all tomorrow!

Last three hands for today..

Monday, April 20th, 2009

Is played at the moment.

There is 125 players left, and if something weird doesn’t happen, like a earthquake we will not get down to the money today. It looks like 2 RedKings players will see the light of day 3!

Their chipcounts:
Ramzi Jelassi - 130.000
Christoph Dierkes - 85.000

Average stack is now 94.000 so both will have a good chance to get in to the money tomorrow and hopefully they will also survive day 3.

Both Ramzi and Christoph has played impressing poker today, never been in any situations where they have needed something to save them, it has been safe winnings the whole trip.

Tomorrow it all starts at 14:00 CEST again, it is going to be even better than it was today with some money action! Of course there will be new quizzes and freerolls as well! Don’t miss out on tomorrows action!

Ramzi shows us some pro tricks..

Monday, April 20th, 2009

The Magician

The Magician

Ramzi has been battling against a player at his table, first time he folded QQ pre flop as he thought that in best case he had a coinflip. Then a few hands after that the same guy raises 3xBB, Ramzi re-raises him. His opponent goes into the tank, and Ramzi gets the feeling that he will make a move (Ramzi has A5 and want him to fold), and here is the trick. Ramzi says:
-Just fold it
And then a few seconds after that he folds. Ramzis psychological powers is over the natural, and he says that it works everytime “who wants to make a move on a player that tells him to fold”.

Christoph is doing very well also, I saw a hand where he got a straight on the river and could take home a pretty big pot.

The day is coming to an end, only about 30 minutes left to play for today and the question is if we are going to reach to the money. We are now about 130 players left, and money is given out to top 112.

Chipcounts:
Ramzi Jelassi - 120.000
Christoph Dierkes - 85.000

Ramzi calls an all-in…

Monday, April 20th, 2009

A shortstacked player pushes all-in one position before the button, and Ramzi calls on the big blind for about 17.000 more. His opponent shows J9 off suit, and Ramzi made a good call with KQ. It is not as good when the flop comes out 983, and not better with the 3 on the turn, Ramzi needs a King or Queen to take the shortstack out. The river is….Q! And Ramzi goes up to about 120.000 in chips.

Christoph is soon coming back from his dinner break and then we will play the last two levels of the day, to see who is going in to the money and who is not. Now we have 175 players left out of the 1178 that started the tournament..

Go Ramzi and Christoph!

PS. As Italians is not capable of providing an good internet connection, or organizing anything my updates may not be as frequent as it should.

Ramzi owns his table…

Monday, April 20th, 2009

Don't mess with Ramzi..

Don't mess with Ramzi..

Not literally, but if we talk poker he does. Ramzi just came back from his dinner break, and he started directly to raise in early position to 3000, late position player re-raises to 11.500 and Ramzi thinks for a while before he calls. The flop comes out 7-8-10 and Ramzi checks, his opponent is scared so he checks behind. Turn is a 3, and now Ramzi bets out 12.000 and his opponent folds. This means that Ramzi has built his stack to about 105.000.

Christoph is now at dinner, he went there with about the average chip stack, 63.000. There are now 189 players left, and 112 players will be paid.

There is going to be more action!

Time for dinner..

Monday, April 20th, 2009

Christoph - 53.000

Christoph - 53.000

Half of the field is now going to dinner and the rest of the field will continue playing on the new level with 1000/2000 in blinds and an ante of 200. Ramzi is eating this hour, and Christoph will eat next round. Ramzi went to dinner with about 84.000, he has had a few battles with the shortstacked player I told you about in the beginning of the day, Arnauld Mattern. He is no longer shortstacked and has about 80-90k in his stack, so he could be dangerous for Ramzi.

Christoph is all the time improving his stack and he now has 53.000 in chips. The average is 58.000 and there is 203 players left.

Only 1 hour left until the freeroll starts now! Of course free to join and there is $250 to win! Register now with the password “teamrk”.

Per Linde, amazing call!

Monday, April 20th, 2009

Per Linde - Awesome Call.

Per Linde - Awesome Call.

Per was in the small blind, when the player on the button moves all-in with about as much chips that Per had. This player had been pushing a lot lately, and Per thought about it with his A9, and he moved all-in and called the buttons bet. His opponent showed A5, so Per was long ahead in this 50.000 pot. The flop was three not dangerous cards, he just needed to dodge the 3 remaining 5s in the deck to win it. Turn got dealt, and there it was, the 5. No 9 on the river and Per has to leave the tournament. Per has played so good poker, so I really feel bad for him. Even worse when the fish that took him out almost lost all Pers chips on another fishy play just a few hands later. Per will be with us again in Venice, lets hope for no bad luck over there!

So, now we have 2 RedKings players left:
Ramzi Jelassi - 100.000
Christoph Dierkes - 38.000

Let’s hope those RedKings can be without any bad luck!

Ramzi, Ramzi, Ramzi!

Monday, April 20th, 2009

Ramzi - 96.000

Ramzi - 96.000

Ramzi raises to 3xBB (3600) in early position, player in late position re-raises to 11.000, Ramzi just makes the call. Flop comes out Q63, Ramzi checks, his opponent goes without thinking all-in and Ramzi snapcalls just a second after. Ramzi shows AA, his opponent shows AQ and Ramzi is miles ahead and his opponent had him covered so if he can dodge the ladies he will double up. Turn 10. River 7. Ramzi Double up. Now he’s got 96.000 in his chip stack and WOW he is going to be dangerous!

Per also made a move just after Ramzi, he was down to about 18.000 when he is on the button, the player before him raises 3x BB and Per goes all-in. After a while his opponent fold and Per gives me a big “pheeewww”, so I think that means that he didn’t want a call.

Christoph is still on a nice stack of 38.000.

We now have 249 players left with an average stack of 47.000. The blinds just raised and we are playing on level 12 with 800/1600 blinds and a ante of 200. Starts to get expensive to play poker.
