Ramzi and Toni counting and packing. Is that Ramzis happy look?

Ramzi and Toni counting and packing. Is that Ramzis happy look?

YES we do! The bubble went pretty fast the bubble boy had pocket 9s and got called of a KJ, the KJ got the straight on the river and the applause from all the players who made it were high, in particular from Toni who really struggled to get there.

Ramzi has been playing impressing poker all day, and after that he doubled up with AK vs QQ, I have been sure of getting him in the money. Now he’s got a really nice stack for the play tomorrow, and a Ramzi Jelassi with a big stack is not to play with, he will play with you.

Toni, oh Toni, I am in love, now two cashes in a row. His third cash for the EPT Season, maybe it is time for the big one now? Stable play, always a bit shortstacked, but that doesn’t matter as long as you are alive. I am eager to see what he can perform tomorrow.

They are both guaranteed €8.928, or if you prefer it in Danish Crones, 66.528DKK.

Tomorrow we will have a new Quiz, but that is just the appetizer. The special on the menu will be two RedKings hunting for the final table.

Ramzi Jelassi, 143.600
Toni Ojala 49.500

Average stack 112.682

See you all tomorrow at 14:00 CET!

Who is going to be the bubbleboy?

The Bubble - All information you need

The Bubble - All information you need

We are now down to 41 players, only one more and we will have our RedKings players in the money. What is good is that we surely have 1 in the money, but the odds of getting both in there is also good. They are now playing hand by hand, so it could take a while.

Toni Ojala, 50.000
Ramzi Jelassi, 130.000

Toni keeps his promises..

Thursday, February 19th, 2009

First he went all-in and got no call, which means that he wins about 6000 chips, almost one third of his chip stack.

The hand after a big stack raises, Toni pushes for 24.600, everybody folds until the opening raiser who calls. Toni flips over AQ, and his opponent shows the snowmen (88). This means that Toni need to dodge an A or Q.

Flop shows a red little lady and Toni now forgives the ladies from his bad beat yesterday. Now he loves them as usual. No 8s on the turn or the river gives Toni about 55.000 in chips.

Still 43 players left, 107.000 in average stack. Ramzi has still about 130.000.

Lets go RedKings!

3 to go…

Ramzi is building beautiful buildings with his chips...

Ramzi is building beautiful buildings with his chips...

And it is just as boring as the title of this post. No action at all, everybody wants to get into the money.

Ramzi is stable at 130.000, Toni has blinded away half of his stack and has about 18.000 in front of him, he just came in to the press room (break) telling me that he is going to go all-in every hand. So there will be action soon.

Is this going to be one of those bubbles that will go to the history? Well, we are not even there yet, and it already feels like the players are playing bubble play.

Stay online and I will give you updates as soon as anything happends.

Poker is cruel..

Tonis A9s hiding under his hands. Is he making some magic?

Tonis A9s hiding under his hands. Is he making some magic?

Toni was down to about 17.000, and he had the small blind. A Swedish guy in middle position makes it 7000 (Big Blind 2400), Toni push all-in and Ramzi in the big blind folds. Now over to the Swedish guy who pretty much is pot commited, makes the call of the extra 10k.

Toni is first to show, A9 suited.
The Swede looks sad and shows his 910. You can see the small smile on Tonis face, this smile quickly disappears when the board comes out 10-J-K. This gives the Swede a lead.

Time for the turn, and time for help, and there it is an ACE! Maybe poker is fair anyway?

River an K and Toni doubles up to about 36.000! My heart was jumping around, I don’t even want to think about how it was in calm Tonis body.

Ramzi Jelassi, 115.000

6 to go……

8 to go…

Until the bubble is splashed and the day is over. That is the unofficial details I have got, that we are playing down to the money today, which means 40 players. There are now 48 players left, with an average chip stack of 96.000.

Ramzi and Toni is still at the same table, no bigger action there at the moment.
Toni, 28.000
Ramzi, 115.000

Good luck to both of them! As soon as anything happen you will see it here.

Molle makes a play..

Thursday, February 19th, 2009

A player raised up to 5.000 with the Big Blind of 2000, Molle in late position decided to shovel all his

51.000 into the pot. The turn comes to the first raiser who starts to think about it, and after a while makes the call.

Molle, A8
Opponent, AJ

Flop: No help
Turn: No help
River:………..NO HELP, and we lost one of the best tournaments player left in the tournament. Molle finished around 60th position, it looked really good for a while, but he didn’t have that last luck you have to get. Now he will go home to Sweden and Lund to charge his pokerbrain for Germany and Dortmund, more from Molle then!

Ramzi - Counting the chips after his huge pot

Ramzi - Counting the chips after his huge pot

One player raises 4k, another big chip stack re raises to 12k, Ramzi decides to put all his chips into the pot, which means about 48k. First player folds (JJ), second players wants it to be counted and then goes into the tank and CALLS, he shows QQ and Ramzi got AK, we have the famous coinflip in front of us. Ramzi’s tournament life is on the line, after the flop with 673 all the “railbirds” starts to mumble and even more on the bad turn of a J. Now he needs an A or K to get this huge pot, the dealer waits a little until she flips up………….K! The crowd gets happy again, and everything is back in order.

Ramzi now has 105.000, and a Ramzi with this kind of stack is really to count on, watch out…
