Stephan Kjerstad started day 3 of WSOPE pretty short stacked just as he has been during the whole tournament, and it went on like that for the first hours also today. Then something turned and Stephan was climbing first up to 50.000, then up to 60, 70 and all the way up to the 100.000 mark which then was just a little bit below the average.

Liz now makes another move and 4bets all-in, Stephan has one of those really easy decisions, he calls. The pot is worth about 210.000, and a great chip position in the tournament.

Stephan leaves his chair, of course on mega tilt, but only for a few hours because then he will start thinking about the EPT London Main Event instead, but I will have a hard time to forget that 2♥.

Anyway, a 69th position for Stephan Kjerstad in the most prestigious tournament in Europe, impressing. Well played!

Stephan Kjerstad the Norweigan online master is still going strong in the World Series of Poker Europe. He has had another day with a cold deck, on a “hot” table with players like Daniel Negrenau and Alexander Kravchenko.

Not an easy task when you don’t get any cards but Stephan has been hanging in there all day with a stack ranging from 26.000 to 42.000. So I would think he is quite happy with ending the day with 41.800. These chips he will bag up over the night, and then get back tomorrow at 13:00 CET to continue his tournament life in this prestigious tournament.
