I was so fortunate to win a summer job at Red Kings, from the 4 250 $ freerolls leaderboard, where it seems that I was the only player that hit the final table twice, and considering there were 800-900 players in each tournament I believe that is was a successful performance, but damn it’s a hard job, in the summerheat we have in Denmark at the moment.

I have to earn 500 points within a week, and have been staked 200 $ from Red Kings to work with. All that is brilliant, but considered I have a job, a wife that have just had a bag surgery and 3 kids to look after also, the time to reach the 500 points target is slim, but then again it’s free money so off course I’ll give it a try.

But I have a major problem. I’m a 98 % MTT player and suddenly I have to adjust my play to cash and SNG, because I have absolutely no chance in hell to reach the 500 point just my playing MTT’s, so I’m in serious problems at the moment.

So far I have been working myself against the target of 500 points, slowly but not rather safely. I have to multitable which haven’t been the issue either in my MTT’s games.
I started Friday evening, weren’t home Saturday and then again played Sunday evening, but that is also the big MTT day, so it had to be adjusted into the MTT I had to play also.

No doubt I have to speed up the game for the remaining 4 days, and where I until now have worked at NL20, and 5,50 $ SNG, I’m gonna have to take a step up the limits and go to NL50 and 11 $ SNG, Monday to see how many points I can get out of this.
So far I’m down 12,16 $, with a remaining 426 points, so maybe I’ll see you at the tables tonight CET.

I played in game cash holdem no limit Texas blinds1$ / 2$. We are 5 at table. I am in position of big blind. The player in the button raise in $4. It is the rather aggressive player who plays the positions a lot. The small blind fold. I raise in $6. He call. I have a pocket of 2. We are 2 to play.
In the flop 244, the perfect flop, without fear of color. Wanting to trap him, I check. Other player raise in $8. I the surelance of the double and he follows.
In the turn Q. I was put at the level of the jar, he sends all in whom I am. He reveals Q3
River Q….

I don’t think of badly played credit note while trying to make profitable my hand. But I really missed luck!

On a freezeout tournament. Table in 9. I am in position Bouton-2. 100/200 The player UTG+2 raise in 400, the player before me call Blind. I see JJ. I raise in 1200 to eliminate players’ maximum. The player in the button raise on 2000, and the player UTG+2 sendsall in. The player before fold his hand. After some seconds of reflection, I decide to fold. The player UTG+2 reveals AA and the player to the button KK. Good fold helaa;)

Since this is my first blog on Red Kings, I decided to start off with a bit of a history blog.
I’m 36 years old, I’m from Canada, and have been playing poker for about 4 years now.
I play both live and online, my favorite type of game is Live, NL tournament. Online, I joined Poker Source online, and that has allowed me to try out a lot of sites around the net through their promos.
I’m currently finishing up a promo through BWin, and playing cash games on Red Kings.
I started the Summer Job promo yesterday, after finishing 2nd in the overall stadings after the 4 qualifying tournament. Adding a 1st place to game 4. I have approx. 200 player points collected so far, playing mostly $0.50/$1 and $0.25/$0.50 full table game.
On Saturday, I’ll be playing a Live tournament at a local pool hall. The tournament is a league final game, where money was collected over a 15 game season and put toward a final pot. There should be around 50 players, and a prize pool of around $10 000.
My next post will be a recap of this game.
That is all for now.

My nickname: I0I
I’m a 21 years old student from Latvia.
Hobbies: I like and do sports (football, basketball and hockey). I’m a bit of a music addict (Music + Poker = Love)
History
Ever since my youth I was interested in cardgames! I played Poker too and thought I was ”a winning player”…. NOT! I was predictable as hell, slowplayed every monster, called too much thus being too passive and above all, it was Emotion-Poker: There was no logic in my plays.
I spent my time on Poker wisely:
• Reading, rereading and studying important Articles of importance
• Watching videos of solid poker players
• Hand Postings

Won the first freeeroll one year ago – 325$ for first place!
My Principle: Learn -> Play -> Evaluate -> …
I signed up for RedKings three weeks ago, because heard about the SUMMER JOB promotion! I qualify for the summer job easy, played four summer job league tournaments - 2 wins and one time second!
Blog Introduction
My bankroll: 200$
I’m going to play Turbo SnG’s and some tournaments.
I will Blog each time when I play a session of 200-300 Turbo SnG’s. I will tell how it went regardless of profit/losses. I post some funny hands and take screenshots ingame whenever I think its interesting for you - as a reader - to see it.
Goals
• Moving up the limits wisely and cautious but profitable
• Earn at least 500 player points every week

Thanks RedKings for the opportunity to be part of this wonderful promotion!
I’m looking forward to everyones criticisms and praises!

Fighting to find pocket Kings

I opened acco to RK about 2 years ago. I usually plays microstakes tournaments, but then I start project to try have pocket red kings.
First few weeks I play just cashgame FL Holdem, and have twice those monarchs to mine hand. Of course I won both deals then :). After that I go tired to play FL cashgames and I move to sitn’gos. Same day good, some day none with prizes. Lil’ bit up anyway.

Ongame have now new kind of software, what collects much of new players across all over Europe, I think.
There were lil’ bit of quite big problems too, in that new software, but when nerds :) can fix those bugs, we all (?) have to play with lots of new plrs in RK and Ongame.

I have lots of work all of july, but I’m quite sure that I will see many kings in mine hands until august comes.

See y in tables, gl, y need that when see pokolopo!
