Going to Amsterdam! Summarizing my earlier tournaments..

Wednesday, November 5th, 2008

Im back in Sweden right now waiting for my flight to next event, Amsterdam masters classics that is! Im gonna stay there for 9 days, long trip compared to my usual ones and Im really looking forward to it!

So far I really enjoy travelling and playing big tournaments with the guys on the Redkings team! Though after making it to 2nd day with a decent stack in EPT Barcelona, London and also Budapest but still not making any money, it feels kinda meeh..In general Im satisfied with my performance throughout all the tournaments.

Without complaining to much I got sucked out bigtime during 2nd day in Barca, In london I think I took too many gambles when getting close to the money, at that moment I felt my stack was big enough (bout 100k) that I could use it and get plenty of fold equity against smaller stacks. Even if I splashed around it would higher my % for making the finaltable (since table played nitty) and at the same time have a very slight chance for going busto before the money..In Budapest I chipped upped playing smallball poker all the way, I never really had a huge stack by any means. At the 500/1000, a:100 level I had a good oppurtunity to make a squeezplay with 8-5s with a stack of about 22k. Pot was about 8k already so if I got fold over 50% (which I was very certain of) I would make tons of chips on average.. Iversen picked up ak and unfortunitely I bricked and was sent to the rail.

I just won my seat to the $1000+40 monthly “Grand Tournament” on Redkings, its definitly one of the best tournaments online and also its not that hard winning a seat actually! Hope seeing you there or in any other events Im playing. Good luck at the tables!
