Molle tells us about his win and EPT Dortmund!

The first minute I entered the pokerroom in the casino in Dortmund I saw Michael Tureniec. Day1A was at the 2nd level playing with the blinds 50/100 and as I just enter to rail Michael a bit he busts out. My flow in the EPT Dortmund on my first day wasn’t much better. Something just didn’t feel right. After busting out day one me and Michael went out for a night in Dortmund and had some fun to recharge the batteries for the 2k euro sidevent taking place a couple of days later.

In some weird way it felt like I had more power for this event. Both Michael and I made day two but sadly Michael went out on the bubble. I had achieved a great stack at this time and was just sitting there playing to win as usual. In the field of 30 players there were a couple good players remaining.
At the final five I could honestly say that all of the players remaining were really good poker players. This was kind of fun because actually it is not often that you can say that about the remaining five players of a tournament since tournament poker still contains a good amount of luck.

I’m a bit sad that I can’t say I had that luck in the end as I went out with AQ vs AJ and catching the fourth place of 35k euro instead of winning the event. Now a couple of days later I’m happy about it but I always want to win so just after I bust out it usually feels bad.

Now, finally home again I have a lot of study to do before my exam in the end of this week and after that I’m taking a two week trip to USA with a good friend of mine. We’re planning to spend a couple of days in Vegas but after that we’re planning to drive around in California just catching whatever is on the road.

I think my next big tournament will be San Remo. Until then, have fun!
