My name is Stefan Schumann and I am 26 years old. Currently I am living in Chemnitz, Germany. This is my very first own blog post here at RedKings and I hope there will be a lot more of them in the future. RedKings has given me the opportunity to play an additional WSOP event in 2009 and I will do my best to come up with a satisfying result for both parties.
We have also done a small interview with Stefan:
1) How did you qualify for WSOP 2009?
- I Qualified for the first package online at RedKings in the “Mission2redkings” promotion in cooperation with Donkr and I received a second package through the regular M2R tournament series.
2) Tell us more about the promotion Mission2RedKings.
There was an additional private race for Donkr forum users being set up by RedKings, simultaniously running with the M2R rake race, the winner came up with a WSOP package, lucky me. Along with this I participated in the M2R tournament series. A friend of mine, Julian, took home the first place, I finished 2nd and had another chance at the M2R tournament series final table where I could clinch the second package.
3) How are you preparing for the WSOP?
- This will be my second WSOP appearance and like I did last year I will play a $1500 PLO8 event. There are some $240 LO8 tournaments running at the Golden Nugget, it should be a good preparation to get the live game going.
4) How do you feel to play in a pro Team with players as Ivo Donev, Toni Ojala, Ramzi Jelassi, Jonas Molander and Christian Heich?
- How do they feel to play in a team with me? 
5) Are there some players at the WSOP that you don’t want to play against?
- Phil Ivey, he seems to be on fire right now. The other guys are all humans.
6) Tell us your plans for the future.
- From the Poker point of view, getting out of Vegas without being broke would be much appreciated.
