Ramzi swings..
Written by: adminWhen you follow Ramzi you usually get a lot of action, and a lot of action also means big swings in his chip stack. Ramzi was up to 94.000 when this hand got played out:
Five people limped, and Ramzi was on the big blind with AQ and raised to 2000, 3 of the limpers call this bet. The flop comes out J82, and Ramzi makes a continuation bet of 4.000, he gets 2 callers. The turn is another 2, and Ramzi again bets out, this time 11.000 and his two opponents are shortstacked. The first player goes in to the tank and after a while he folds, the other player also goes into the tank for a while and everybody thinks he is folding but then he drags his cards back and makes the call. His opponent shows QQ, and no A on the riverm and Ramzi loses a huge pot. He is now “down” to 64.000 which is well over the average stack.
Ramzi said in the break that he was a bit on tilt, but that he will try to forget about it and play a bit more tight for a while, even if his table is perfect for the type of play he has used so far.
Ivo Donev is still around 42.000 in chips.
The blinds just got raised up to 150/300 with an ante of 25, this will be our last level for the day, the schedule has been changed so we only play 4 levels on each day 1, and also a small notice, the 2007 winner Jerry Yang just got beaten out from the tournament..
